Remember how my opponent's wife and friend from high school (and a neighbor) tried to kick me off the ballot so my opponent could run unopposed? Well . . . the money paid to the lawyers and to the P.I. wasn't reported in the campaign's financials and now - - my opponent's campaign is being investigated by the Board of Elections and Ethics Enforcement.
So, there you have it. Had the wife, friend and neighbor just focused on running a fair, dignified and constitutional campaign - like the kind my opponent said he believed in when he ran against an incumbent, he wouldn't be in this predicament.
But the irony here is even richer. Looks like the challenge against him was filed on October 9, 2018. That is right around when I started getting Notices of Appeal regarding the challenges filed against me - that means the wife, friend and neighbor are still at it! Hope they remember to file an accurate financial report next time.
